OUR ESSENTIAL BELIEFS

1. We believe that the Bible is the verbally inspired Word of God, inerrant and without mistakes in the original languages.

2. We believe in one God, Creator of all things, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, sovereign over all things.

3. We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ; His virgin birth, sinless life, His miracles, substitutionary death, bodily resurrection; ascension and return.

4. We believe the Lord Jesus Christ died a substitutionary death for our sins and that all who believe in Him are sealed by the Holy Spirit, imputed with His righteousness, saved by grace through faith unto good works.

5. We believe in and cultivate the present ministry and gifts of the Holy Spirit indwelling all believers and empowering for ministry and the Christian life and that all things are to be done Scripturally and in good order.

6. We believe in the bodily resurrection of everyone who has ever lived; The righteous forever with Christ and the unrighteous separated in judgment.

7) We believe in the Second Advent, the return of the Lord Jesus Christ in glory and power..

8) We believe two Sacraments or Ordinances of the Local Church: 1) Baptism; By immersion for the Believer as the Lord Jesus Himself was baptized and displays our death to self and sin and placement "in Christ" and into His Church Universal. 2) Communion or the Lord's Table; for all Believers, recognizing the grace and unity with each other and with Christ as we soberly yet joyfully partake of the bread and wine.

Winnsboro Bible DISTINCTIVES:

1) Fervent love for the brethren: This is explicitly commanded by our Lord and re-emphasized by Paul and Peter. This explicitly includes showing hospitality, discipleship, fellowship, and ministries of grace.
2) Kingdom living: We commit to align our lives, our priorities as Believers, as parents, as children, as employees and employers, as spouses to God's Kingdom ordering of those priorities as outlined in Scripture.

3) Family participatory worship: Our children worship, give, and learn alongside Dad and Mom in Bible Studies at home and in church.
4) Building, strengthening, and healing Kingdom Marriages and families: Jesus is still in the resurrection business healing people, marriages, and families broken by sin and sinful systems of this world. We minister through Scripture, prayer, and the power of the Holy Spirit.

5) Discipleship In the Spirit, in God's power we build the Kingdom of Christ by our focus on discipleship teaching others within the church and evangelism without, fulfilling the Great Commission given by our Lord. (Matthew 28:16-20).
